The Section Annual Conference brings together top litigation professionals from across the United States to discuss timely legal issues and the latest in trial advocacy, litigation strategy, and case management in more than 20 Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) programs. The Conference provides an opportunity to learn and interact with in-house counsel, outside counsel, academics, government employees, and judges.

The Conference will include keynote addresses by Anthony Foxx (former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Emma Bloomberg Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and former Chief Policy Officer of Lyft) and Charles Hamilton Houston III (Senior Counsel of Westlake Corporation, and grandson of civil rights pioneer Charles Hamilton Houston). A plenary session featuring Judge J. Michael Luttig (retired, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit) and Secretary Jeh Charles Johnson (former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security) of the ABA Task Force for American Democracy will highlight the final day of the Conference.
