Alexander Newman focuses his practice on commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He represents clients ranging from individuals to large corporations at every stage of complex business disputes in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. His experience includes breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business divorce litigation, defamation and anti-SLAPP, and judgment enforcement.
During law school, Alexander was an editor of the Cardozo Law Review. He previously served as a fellow to the Honorable Loretta A. Preska, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and as an intern at the Office of the New York State Attorney General.
