Speaking Engagements
Andrew Weiner joined Dickstein Shapiro in September 1999 and is an associate in the Insurance Coverage Practice. He focuses primarily on representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Weiner has experience with civil actions and arbitrations encompassing a variety of insurance coverage issues, including litigation seeking coverage for asbestos bodily injury, environmental liabilities, directors and officers liability, business interruption, property damage, employee dishonesty, professional liability, products liability, and advertising injury. In connection with his representation of policyholders, he has participated in all phases of litigation, including cross-examination of insurance company fact and expert witnesses during a five-week jury trial in 2008 (
Columbia Cas. Co. v. Appleton Papers, Inc.
, No. 05-CV-36 (Wis. Cir. Ct., Brown County)). He also has experience in the settlement of insurance coverage disputes. In addition, he has represented commercial clients in connection with breach of contract cases in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
