Steven Walter joined Dickstein Shapiro in September 2000 and is counsel in the Corporate & Finance Practice. Mr. Walter represents various lending institutions, including mezzanine financing firms, and borrowers in lending and equity participations, real estate acquisitions, development, and financing transactions. He also has represented clients in the financing of infrastructure projects, such as pipelines and water treatment facilities. Mr. Walter concentrates heavily on advising clients in connection with asset-based/corporate lending transactions and real estate acquisitions and sales, including drafting and negotiating loan and security agreements, inter-creditor agreements, debentures, and ancillary agreements. Moreover, he focuses on general corporate counseling and mergers and acquisitions, along with numerous asset and stock purchase and sale transactions. Mr. Walter is the lead attorney responsible for making all Hart-Scott-Rodino filings in connection with acquisition transactions.
