Buzz Walling is senior counsel with Dickstein Shapiro in the Complex Dispute Resolution Practice. He joined the firm as of counsel on September 1, 2003, with 30 years of legal experience in both private and corporate practice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Walling was General Attorney for AT&T Corp., where he was responsible for AT&T’s regional general litigation in the domestic United States. His civil litigation practice focuses on telecommunications issues, including disputes involving AT&T’s nationwide fiber optic network and other right-of-way issues, as well as insurance coverage litigation. In addition, he has represented AT&T in commercial litigation, including contractual disputes with railroad right-of-way providers. A significant focus of his practice has been the negotiation of settlements in complex cases, including nationwide class action litigation and related insurance controversies.
