Kristi Singleton is counsel in Dickstein Shapiro’s Insurance Coverage Practice. Her practice focuses primarily on representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation seeking coverage for asbestos bodily injury, environmental liabilities, directors and officers liability, business interruption, property damage, and subprime auto loan risk default insurance. She also has represented clients in civil litigation contract disputes. In connection with her representation of corporate clients, Ms. Singleton has drafted summary judgment briefs and other litigation motions, taken and defended depositions, prepared witnesses for trial testimony, and negotiated and drafted settlement agreements. In addition, her pro bono work includes the representation of minors in the District of Columbia as a guardian
ad litem
