Deborah Goldstock Ringel is counsel in Dickstein Shapiro’s Business Litigation and White Collar practices. A former prosecutor, Ms. Ringel now defends clients in complex litigations and counsels them through federal and state investigations. Ms. Ringel also conducts internal investigations of alleged governance and ethics violations for her corporate clients.
Recent matters include:
Representing a

500 company in a federal False Claims Act (FCA) litigation—part of a series of cases involving the largest procurement-related FCA litigation in the last three years
Representing a
Fortune
500 company in a state investigation regarding procurement fraud
Serving as national coordinating counsel and representing cell phone companies in a series of class action and individual lawsuits alleging fraud by the cell phone industry
Representing employees of a
Fortune
500 company through a federal joint task force criminal investigation
Conducting internal investigations into alleged ethics violations for a national mortgage finance company
Representing a senior corporate officer of a
Fortune
500 company in Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation and criminal investigation
Ms. Ringel also represents firm clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including breach of contract, government contract and protest litigation, telecommunications litigation before the Federal Communications Commission, and insurance coverage litigation. She has extensive trial and litigation experience in federal and state court.
