Ms. Kalani focuses her practice on helping clients navigate issues before State Attorneys General throughout the United States. From 2002 through 2009, Ms. Kalani was the Director of Government Affairs and Senior Corporate Counsel for DISH Network, a leading national pay television provider and Fortune 200 company. She also has served as the chair of the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association, the national trade association of the satellite industry, and she worked at the Federal Communications Commission before joining DISH Network. Prior to joining Dickstein Shapiro, Ms. Kalani headed the State Attorneys General Practice at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. She holds a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, and an M.B.A. and B.S. from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
