Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Welcomes Sam J. Alberts



(Washington, DC)—Dickstein Shapiro is pleased to announce the addition of Sam J. Alberts to its nationally recognized Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice. Mr. Alberts is a seasoned restructuring attorney with significant experience in complex bankruptcies and cross-border business restructurings. He also is a litigator with first-chair trial experience in a variety of business-related matters in state and federal courts.

“Sam is a dynamic bankruptcy practitioner who will expand our depth and experience in debtor and committee work, with a focus on Chapter 11, government agency, and other restructuring matters stemming from the global financial crisis,” said Dan Litt, head of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice. “His experience complements our national restructuring practice, and he adds to our depth of resources for our clients.”

Mr. Alberts received his B.A., cum laude, from New York University, and his J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University.
