Joan Lewis joined Dickstein Shapiro in 1999, and is counsel in the New York office. Ms. Lewis focuses her practice on insurance coverage litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country and on counseling clients nationwide on insurance coverage and related matters. She has an extensive and diverse general litigation background including commercial litigation, health care litigation, ERISA litigation, antitrust litigation, criminal prosecution, and family law. Since 1992, Ms. Lewis has concentrated in representing policyholders in a wide range of insurance coverage cases throughout the country. These include environmental, products liability, lead paint liability, intellectual property, healthcare, and ERISA-regulated employee benefits coverage.
