Justin Lavella is an associate in Dickstein Shapiro’s Washington, DC office, where he is a member of the firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice. He focuses on representing corporate policyholders, debtors’ and creditors’ committees, and other parties in insurance coverage disputes relating to mass tort liabilities, directors’ and officers’ liabilities, professional errors and omissions liabilities, employee theft, and first-person property damage. He represents companies in all aspects of insurance recovery, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and bankruptcy proceedings, and counsels clients on prospective insurance placement.
