Mr. Higgins is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and is Chief of Litigation and leader of the Securities—Litigation, Regulatory, and Compliance—Practice at Dickstein Shapiro, which he joined in 1973, after serving as a U.S. District Court law clerk and an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. His nationwide practice focuses on securities, insurance, and general business litigation. With more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Higgins has tried more than 100 jury trials.
