Stefanie Birbrower Greer is a New York-based partner in Dickstein Shapiro’s Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice who represents clients in all aspects of Chapter 11 cases, including complex bankruptcy-related litigation. Ms. Greer has represented, among others, debtors undergoing reorganization, creditors, bankruptcy fiduciaries, insurers facing potential bond exposure, liquidating trustees, and purchasers of distressed assets. Along with her bankruptcy and restructuring work, Ms. Greer is an experienced commercial litigator who has handled cases in both federal and state court.

Ms. Greer has represented creditors in many Chapter 11 cases, including New Century Mortgage Corporation; Verestar, Inc.; American Home Mortgage Corporation; Gemini Air Cargo; Calpine Corporation; Mirant Corporation; Lodestar Energy Inc.; Recoton Corporation; Northwestern Corporation; Oakwood Homes; and International Total Services, Inc.

Ms. Greer has also represented Chapter 11 debtors including: Black Diamond Mining Company, LLC; Perryville Energy Partners LLC; Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc.; Rhythms NetConnections, Inc.; and Global Crossing, Inc.
