After serving as Chief of the Anti-Fraud Section of the DC United States Attorney’s Office and also as one of the three original Watergate prosecutors, Mr. Seymour Glanzer joined Dickstein Shapiro LLP as partner in 1974. He became senior counsel at the firm in 1998, and continues to represent clients caught up in complex commercial and business disputes, often featuring financial irregularities. These matters frequently arise in the context of government enforcement activity and/or private civil claims implicating federal laws governing securities transactions, tax filings, and regulatory compliance duties and responsibilities relating to antitrust, government contracting, and banking. These cases not only create potential client exposure to criminal, civil, or administrative government enforcement, but also may result in parallel private civil litigation.
