Jacob Farber joined Dickstein Shapiro LLP in 1996. He is counsel in the Firm’s Communications Practice. He is involved in proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission, state public utility commissions, and the courts on behalf of telecommunications and broadcast clients. The telecommunications component of his practice includes the representation of competitive local exchange carriers, wireless providers, enterprise users, VoIP and other IP-enabled service providers, and other new entrants in a wide range of matters, including local competitive entry, regulatory compliance, and the negotiation of interconnection and other inter-carrier agreements. Mr. Farber also represents broadcast companies in the sale, acquisition, and financing of broadcast properties, as well as in licensing matters and regulatory compliance.
