Mike Engleman is administrative head of Dickstein Shapiro’s Energy Practice, which he joined in 1999 after spending his first eleven years of practice in his hometown, Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Engleman focuses on state, federal, and international complex civil litigation matters and energy law issues. He has appeared before state and federal courts nationally; before arbitration panels nationally and internationally; and before the public service commissions of numerous states, including Arizona, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Virginia, and West Virginia. Mr. Engleman has served as lead counsel on a wide variety of energy-related litigation matters, including U.S. and international coal contract disputes, power purchase agreement disputes, warranty and performance disputes, utility/railroad easement issues, wrongful death or other electric contact actions, and personal injury claims.
